Fairhaven House

Fairhaven House is a 501C3 non-profit, charitable organization that provides an affordable clean and sober living environment for individuals recovering from substance abuse or other addictive behavior. Fairhaven House also provides one-on-one mentoring to Fairhaven House members.

Many of the individuals who come to Fairhaven House are coming from treatment centers. Several of these treatment centers are in locations that are not conducive to recovery. Also many of these centers do not have a whole-person approach in regards to counseling. We believe that in regards to treatment that all aspects of a person's life: physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual, need to be addressed for true recovery to occur. Otherwise when these individuals enter into a group housing situation (or independent living) they may be sober, but bring much 'baggage' with them that for many leads to a relapse after receiving treatment.

It is the desire of Fairhaven House to not only provide affordable sober housing but to offer a treatment center that will help individuals to have a greater opportunity to see long lasting success in their recovery journey. With that goal in mind, Fairhaven House is in the process of creating a Treatment Center in a country setting that not only provides a whole-person approach to counseling, but also provides recreational and vocational therapy.

Fairhaven House Treatment Center Vision

The vision of Fairhaven House Treatment Center is to provide a peaceful, life-restoring environment for professional in-patient and out-patient treatment for those who are struggling with alcohol/drug and other addictions. Along with addiction treatment we will offer recreational and vocational therapy.

Fairhaven House Treatment Center Mission

Fairhaven House Treatment Center desires to accomplish this vision by offering faith-based whole-person treatment at a facility located in a country setting with a river, trails, horses/cattle/other animals, garden area, indoor pool, and vocational shop area.

Fairhaven House Treatment Center Goals

• Provide a stable environment of love, encouragement, and hope during the treatment process.
  
  
• Provide treatment that addresses all aspects of a person's life: physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual. Specifically addressing the root issues behind the addiction.
  
  
• Provide healthy, nutritional meals for in-patient clients.
  
  
• Provide and environment for individuals to develop godly character.
  
  
• Provide an environment for clients to learn how to enjoy life and have fun without having to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  
  
• Provide opportunities for clients who would enjoy learning about animal husbandry, landscaping, gardening, vehicle repair.
  
  
• Provide opportunities for clients to develop various job skills and a good work ethic.
  
  
• Provide opportunities for clients to do service work in the community to help them build self-esteem and give back to society.
  
  
• Directly help graduating clients to obtain affordable housing and employment.
  
  
• Ultimately help individuals to be transformed from being addicts to productive citizens.

Fairhaven House Treatment Center Facility

Our goal is to obtain a 24 acre property on a river that has existing structures and facilities and that allows the adddition of additional buildings to fulfill the vision to have a Treatment Center in a country setting that provides an opportunity for not only alcohol and drug addiction treatment but to offer recreational and vocational therapy. The property has the capability to allow for future growth.

We would be a faith-based program that is state cerfified. Treatment will be a minimum of 90 days. Clients are encouraged to make a comittment of a minimum of 180 days.

We will house a total of 12 individuals. We have not determined if this will be a male facility or a co-ed facility.

Treatment Fees

There are in-patient treatment facilities in the Puget Sound area that charge $4,000-$10,000 per person for 28 days of treatment. There are long term in-patient treatment programs that receive from $15,000-$60,000 for 90 day treatment programs. These organizations are offering much less than what Fairhaven House Treatment Center would offer. It is our goal to have treatment fees in the $3,300 range per month with scholarships available to help cover a portion of the treatment fees if a person does not have insurance or government funding. We will also provide Intensive Out-Patient for $500 a month.
